If you have serious concerns over a bagel, you can report them to the CMB Team for review. Once you’ve reported a bagel, you won’t be able to see or message them again. Don't worry, all reports are anonymous.
Reporting a bagel
We strongly encourage you to make a report within the CMB app, as it enables us to investigate a profile quickly. You can report a bagel in Suggested, Discover, or a current match.
- Go to the bagel’s profile or your chat with them.
- On their profile, scroll down and tap on "Hide or Report". In your chat, tap on the 3 dots in the top right corner.
- Tap "Report & unmatch" and a pop-up will appear to confirm if you’d like to report and unmatch with this bagel. Then tap Continue.
- Next, select a reason for reporting the bagel from a list or submit your own reason.
Safety of our CMB daters are our top priority
We appreciate you taking the time to report suspicious behaviour. You can also contact us directly with details, screenshots, and other information that could help us investigate the issue.
If you encounter content that involves Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or child exploitation, please report it immediately by sending an email to safety-report@coffeemeetsbagel.app. These reports will be prioritized and reviewed promptly.
