Real Dates is an in-chat feature that gives you a fun, low-pressure way to propose date ideas to your match. To start using it, make sure your app is updated to the latest CMB version.
See Your Match's Date Preferences
A banner at the top of your chat shows your match's dating style preferences, so you'll know what kind of date they'd enjoy before you even ask. You can update your own dating style preferences anytime under "Edit Profile > Dating Style"
Send A Date Invite
Ready to meet? Use the in-chat date poll to suggest up to three date ideas, then let your match choose their favourite. They can pick one, suggest a different idea, or let you know they need more time. This keeps the conversation moving toward an actual date!
How it works: The sender of the date invite can edit the 3 options while the date invite is awaiting a response, by tapping "Edit" in the date invite banner. Once the receiver has responded, options can no longer be edited.
Only one date invite can be sent per chat. This is keeps you & your match's experience focused on progressing towards an offline first date.
Need more time to decide on the date?
If the receiving party needs more time to decide on the date invitation, they can select "I'm interested but need more time" and the date invite stays open so they can come back to it whenever they're ready.
