Hey there, Coffee Meets Bagel community! We are excited to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.. To help with that, we have some important guidelines regarding content involving children. Let’s dive in!
We have strict policies and robust operations in place to tackle content and behavior that is harmful or exploitative to children. We prohibit content that puts children at risk including areas such as unwanted sexualization, abuse, and harmful and dangerous acts. Uploading, sharing, commenting, or engaging in activity that harms minors will result in the content being removed and the account may be terminated.
What You Need to Know
• No Content That Sexualizes Children!
We do not allow any content that sexualizes or endangers children, whether real or fictional. This includes:
• Visual depictions (like images and illustrations)
• Sharing third-party links
• Conversations about sexually explicit conduct involving children
- Depictions of child nudity or sexualization in any form, including artistic representations such as drawing or animations.
• No Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)!
It is absolutely prohibited to upload, store, produce, share, or encourage others to share CSAM, even if your intent is to raise awareness or express outrage.
Sharing Photos of Children
• We understand that many of you may want to share photos of your kids! Just remember:
• Photos must be fully clothed.
• Kids should not be shown alone in the image, including any childhood photos of yourself.
- You shall not create or manage accounts on behalf of minors.
Specific Restrictions
• No Profile Photos of Sensitive Areas!
We do not allow profile photos that depict babies’, toddlers’, or children’s genitalia or buttocks, even if they are partially or fully covered by emojis. Let’s keep it respectful!
What Happens If You Violate This Policy?
If any of these guidelines are not followed, we will have to remove your account from the Coffee Meets Bagel app and report the issue to the authorities. In line with the U.S. law, if we detect child sexual exploitation, grooming, or abuse, we will report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (https://www.missingkids.org/home) (NCMEC) . They may share this information with local and global law enforcement agencies.
Thanks for helping us keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone! If you encounter a member violating these guidelines, please report them directly through here.
